 You need coloured card,a ruler,a pencil,scissors and glue.

Trace the stripes with the pencil and the ruler (1.5cm x15cm) and cut out.

Roll the  the strips of card. 

 Designe your creation and glue on the background.

This week, 5th grade students are learning about two great artists that represent very differnt styles: 

Vincent Van Gogh (Netherlands,1853-1890) and Pablo Picasso (Spain,1881-1973).The human figure is the main theme in these paintings.However,the colours,style and compositions are different. Look at them!!

Last January we were learning about arts and crafts  thechniques and materials.We created two dragons: one with real texture and another with visual texture.We used textured materials,crayons,coloured pencils,felt pens and soft crayons.
